API Keys
Your Anthropic, Granola, and Calendly API keys are stored securely in Netlify's environment variables — never in the browser. To update them, go to your Netlify dashboard → Site → Environment Variables.
Variables to set:
ANTHROPIC_API_KEY = sk-ant-api03-… GRANOLA_API_KEY = grn_… CALENDLY_API_KEY = eyJ… (Personal Access Token from calendly.com → Integrations → API & Webhooks)
📨 Student Portal Contact
How students can reach you from inside their portal. The portal renders a "Send email" button (mailto) and an inline Calendly scheduling widget. Leave a field empty to hide that option.
Email address
Calendly URL
The full URL students see embedded. The Calendly script loads only when a student opens the schedule modal — no extra script tags on every page load.

AI Assistant
Daily token cap and turn-nudge for AI features. As of V37.4, the cap covers every AI call across the app — not just the chatbot. The breakdown below shows where today's tokens went. Limits reset at midnight your local time.
Daily token cap
A typical "answer my data" turn is ~800 tokens; a draft-email turn is ~2,300. A heavy day of 20 questions + 10 drafts is around 40k. 200k gives you 4–5× headroom and catches loops.
Max conversation turns (soft nudge)
Past this, the chat shows a "start fresh?" hint above the input. It's not a hard stop — long sessions just accumulate stale context.
✉️ Email Voice Profile
Teach AI how your follow-up emails should sound. Paste 2–4 emails you've actually written and add explicit style rules. The post-meeting email drafter will mirror your cadence, length, and sign-off.
Email signature (used as-is at the end of every drafted email)
Style rules (one per line)
Sample emails (separate with a line of three dashes: ---)
📰 Feed interests
Tell your daily feed what to surface. Free text — the AI uses it semantically when ranking and tagging articles. Leave blank for naive recency-only ranking. The chatbot can also edit this for you ("I want fewer articles about Greek life").
📁 Note folders
Organize your notes into custom buckets — e.g., Prospective Students, Internal Process, Industry News. Folders show as filter chips on the Notes panel.
🔧 Diagnostics
Run this to check what's working and fix your Supabase tables.

✦ Refresh from AI
Re-fetch data from the AI for every college in your library. Runs sequentially — about 1–2 minutes per 10 colleges in deadlines-only mode, 2–3× that in all-fields mode.
What to refresh
Cycle year (matriculation)
Deadlines published for fall — entry.
⚠ AI data isn't always perfect. Spot-check before relying on these for student-facing materials. The "Verify on website" links on each college editor screen are quick.

📋 Add colleges from a list
Paste a list of college names (one per line). The AI will look up each one, generate a website and tags, and add it to your library. Existing entries are skipped — safe to paste lists that overlap with what you already have.
